It is in the toughest of times that I have felt the closest to God. It is in those trials and periods of feeling alone that I have found comfort and peace in God.
I know it’s easy to cry out when we are desperate. But many times, those moments are the moments where we really come to know the truth.
We are never alone.
We have all heard the ‘ole adage “if the shoe fits, wear it”. And if there’s anything that 2 am Wal-Mart shoppers have shown us, is that, there are some things we should just not wear. There are periods in our lives where we seem to want to mold who we are into a shape completely different than what we believe in.
We sometimes struggle in trying to be someone who we think we ought to be and end up smothering the person who we were meant to be.
